(Ezekiel 37:5) I will make Spirit enter these dry bones, and they will come to life.
The prophet Ezekiel saw a vision of a valley filled with dry, dead bones.
Then God declared, "I will cause My Spirit to enter these dry bones, and they will come to life."
God's Spirit entered them, and they came to life and stood on their feet—a vast army.
Have you ever felt hopeless deep down in the center of your soul?
I have.
Have you ever hit rock bottom and felt like there was simply no escape?
I have.
Have you ever felt as though the circumstances of your life had become a pile of dry, dead bones?
I have.
These are the facts:
Without God, we are trapped in a world with no answers.
Without God, there is no escape from the power of sin and corruption.
Without God, there is no true hope.
In the end, without God, there is only death.
But this is the message today:
No matter how bad things feel, there is always hope because we believe in a God who can resurrect the dead.
No matter how spiritually dead we feel, the wind of the Spirit of God can fill us with life again.
No matter how many self-destructive decisions we have made in our lives, God's Spirit can fill us with cleansing hope again.
Our hope is in a Savior—the One who can raise us up from our condition of death.
Whenever you feel hopeless, remember: Jesus is the resurrection and the life.
Call out to God for resurrection.
He can bring life back to your circumstances, just as He brought life to a valley of dry, dead bones.
