(Lamentations 3:22–23) New Every Morning.

When we get up in the morning, many of us think, “Oh, another day, the same old grind.”

But Lamentations 3:22-23 tells us, "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” 

Say these phrases out loud to yourself, 

God’s love is with me today, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases.” 

God’s mercy and grace are with me today. “His mercies never comes to an end.” 

God’s wonderful faithfulness is with me today. “God’s faithfulness is great.” 

The phrase "new every morning" is about hope, renewal, and the opportunity for a fresh start. 

We can forget what we struggled with yesterday, and move forward today in God’s newness of love, mercies, and faithfulness. 

Regardless of the challenges and disappointments we faced yesterday, there is always the promise of new beginnings in the kingdom of God. 

Everyday is a day of spiritual renewal in our relationship with God—as long as we leave yesterday behind, and embrace the truth that our experiences in God are “new every morning.” 

Open your heart to God’s newness that he has for you today.
