(1 John 1:7) Live in the light.
When we live in darkness, we cover up their struggles and sins from others.
We hide the truth about our inner lives.
However, when we are born again by the Holy Spirit, we are transferred from a life of darkness into the light of God.
God is light.
The more we grow in our relationship with Him, the more our lives are filled with light and truth.
Yet this transition is not automatic.
To live in the light requires that we live a life of transparency and honesty before ourselves, others, and God.
We must put an end to all lying and pretending.
We must eliminate all efforts to use religiosity as a means to hide the true condition of our heart.
We must live and speak the truth.
When our relationship with God is secure, we are able to be transparent without fearing what others think.
We no longer live in dishonesty and fear.
Instead, we live in honesty, peace, and hope.
When we live in the transparent light of God's kingdom, we confess our sins and failures quickly.
We run into God's forgiveness.
We do not run away from God in fear and shame.
Are you living a Christian life of transparency and honesty?
Do you allow the Holy Spirit to work deep within your heart and cast out all darkness?
Do you live in absolute truth?
Are you living in the light?
Are you a light to others in our dark world?
