(1 Peter 5:7) Cast all your anxieties on God.

In 1 Peter 5:7, Peter exhorts us to "cast all our anxieties and worries on God."

We all have them!

Often our lives are paralyzed by emotions that we often can’t control.

How do we unload our anxieties onto God?

First, We need to identify the underlying causes of our persistent worries.

This requires self-evaluation and personal reflection.

This step is essential.

We must get down to the "heart" of the matter.

Then we need to take 10 minutes every night and make a list of the primary issues causing excessive anxiety in your life—even if they are the same issues every day.

Once your list is finished, unload, one by one, unload your anxieties to God in prayer.

Cast them all upon Him!

I call this "unloading" prayer.

God is our Great Shepherd. He is able to take upon Himself whatever we give Him.

We can call this the "great transfer."

If you make this process your spiritual practice, God will begin to lift your heaviness over time.

This doesn’t mean that he will take away all your problems, but he will work within them.

He will surprise you with His peace.

Stop ignoring your issues.

Stop stuffing your emotions.

Be honest with yourself and with God.

Unload your worries onto God.

He cares for you!
