(Ephesians 5:18) Be filled (overflowing) with the Holy Spirit.

The overall goal of Christian living is to be filled and overflowing with the Holy Spirit, the direct, intimate presence of God in our lives. We can do a lot of external religious things in our lives, but ultimately what brings transformation is the the presence of God within our hearts. 

We must enter the presence of God each day, it is not optional. Otherwise, we will live only an external, static Christian lifestyle.

We open our hearts in humility and welcome the Holy Spirit to cover us, fill us, lead us. 

We cultivate a dynamic relationship with the Holy Spirit. 

How do we do that?

It is not that difficult. In fact, we make it way too complicated. 

Just open up your heart. Soften your heart. Have a deep thirst from God’s presence in your life.

Honesty is key. Transparency is crucial. 

Just simply say each day, Come Holy Spirit. 

Fill my life. 

Transform my heart. 

Do what you want to do in my life. 

I need your presence and power within me.

Fill me to overflowing.
