(Galatians 5:25) We live by the Holy Spirit.
We become Christians when we are born again—regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Our salvation and renewal in Jesus Christ are supernatural works of God.
We believed, but God transformed our hearts.
It was the Holy Spirit’s power that began changing our inner lives.
Although we know our conversion was produced by the Holy Spirit, we often try to live the Christian life through our own strength, self-help methods, and external religious rules.
We stop depending on the supernatural power of God.
We go through our days consumed by schedules and responsibilities.
We make decisions according to our own wisdom and live according to our emotions.
In Galatians 5:25, Paul exhorts us to walk daily under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We are to follow His inner prompting, conviction, and discernment.
Our daily connection with the Holy Spirit is cultivated through prayer and worship.
I am not referring to rote or ritualistic prayer, but to prayer in which we truly connect with and sense the presence of God.
We do not merely speak words; we open our hearts and lives to the presence of God so He can fill our minds and inner being.
If we do not walk daily in step with the Holy Spirit, we can become religious people who lack the power and direction of Almighty God.
Without following the Holy Spirit’s presence each day, we end up living merely natural lives, no different from unbelievers.
Let us wake up and live supernatural lives filled with the fruit, gifts, and power of the Holy Spirit.
Are you living in your own strength?
Have you forgotten that the Holy Spirit produced your initial transformation?
Have you stopped following the Holy Spirit’s guidance each day?
Each morning, are you seeking the Holy Spirit’s empowerment and direction?
