Hebrews 11:6 “God rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
Christians often think they can approach God casually and without passion, yet still experience His presence in their lives.
Hebrews 11:6 rejects this way of thinking.
We must first seek God and draw near to Him wholeheartedly, with deep conviction.
We must be genuinely thirsty to experience more of God in our lives.
We cannot expect anything from God if we believe that mere intellectual acknowledgment is enough.
We must invest ourselves in developing a personal relationship with God.
Believing in God is not passive; it is an active pursuit driven by a heartfelt desire to experience His best for our lives.
God is not interested in "cheap grace" or "cheap relationships."
When we draw near to God, He faithfully draws near to us.
In response to our honesty and sincerity in seeking Him relationally, God manifests His presence and pours His blessings into our lives.
This is the reward—not something we earn, but something we receive through His grace—of living in the kingdom of God.
God exists, and He desires to bless us.
Many Christians struggle to believe this.
They think they must earn God's blessing.
Faith is a deep confidence that God is real and that He delights in blessing us with His presence.
Faith is not skepticism or merely hoping that God will come near.
Nor is faith a form of magic.
Biblical faith is a confident assurance that God is trustworthy and faithful to those who seek Him.
God exists.
God will bless us.
All that is required of us is to seek a relationship with Him with an honest, thirsty, and authentic heart.
